TV Meme Day 2

Day 02 - A show that you wish more people were watching: I think I'm going to go with Burn Notice. I don't think a ton of people on my flist watch it. No one else in my family does. Which is odd since my one brother is a HUGE Bruce Campbell fan. It's a great show, really. It's fun, action packed, funny at times. It's a good mix of funny and serious. And now we can say has an Emmy Nominated Supporting Actress in Sharon Gless and Michael's mother! :-D

WTF Brain (Part 2) and Burn Notice!!

Some really hot, but random, actor (why can't I remember now??) was a chef who knew how to do a completely kick ass tango (it was HOT) and Adam Lambert was a very nice, if completely egotistical, make-up artist. Seriously. What they hell is wrong with my brain??

Burn Notice Commentary
Jul. 5th, 2009 12:55 pmJust finished watching Bad Blood with the commentary. Michael was not there for this one, but the first 5 minutes of that opening scene are pretty much spent with everyone else gushing over how awesome Michael was. Woohoo!
They did get Method Man in for it. He's pretty cool, actually. Seems to have a HUGE CRUSH on Gabriel Anwar. But, well, who wouldn't? LOL And he's a Bruce Campbell fanboy!
The guy who played Ricky Watkins (the accountant guy) is actually a writer on the show - Ben Watkins. It has to do with since they film in Miami they're sort of restricted as to how many people they can cast from LA. And since they had already gotten Michael, Method Man, and the guy playing Eddie, they needed someone local. So, they got Ben. Made him audition, though. LOL
And more gushing over Michael in his other scenes. Woohoo!! :-D

I have new music & movies!
Jul. 3rd, 2009 11:37 amFirst up - Rob Thomas' new CD Cradlesong. It's AMAZING. Y'all need to go get it right now. Really great orchestrations/arrangements. This one song, Wonderful, has got the full horns/sax back-up and it is GREAT. Even better than the last solo album. Go Rob! :-)
Movies - Christian Kane's Hide is finally out on DVD. Woohoo!!! Then I ran out to Best Buy this morning and got My Bloody Valentine, Burn Notice Season 2 and Atlantis Season 5 with my birthday money. Can't wait to listen to the commentaries on the BN discs. I've heard they're pretty awesome.
All right. Now I must get to the cleaning and laundry. Woohoo.

Random Ramblings of the Random Kind
Mar. 2nd, 2009 12:17 pmI am over winter. It snowed again today after the thunderstorm we had last week. And not light, fluffy snow. The heavy, thick, wet stuff. Yuck. Luckily, the drive into work wasn't too bad. But still. I'm done with snow. Go away, please.
Saw Confessions of a Shopaholic over the weekend. It was cute. Definitely a chick flick, but still good. There was a preview for that new 17 Again movie. I think I really want to see it, but I'm almost embarrassed about it. Please tell me someone else out there wants to see it, too.
4 DAYS TO WATCHMEN!!! (Which I keep spelling as Watchment and have to constantly backspace the T. It's getting annoying....)

I think I'm going to change my LJ layout later today. I just can't decide to what. Back to SPN? I've been contemplating a JDM theme. It's hard with all my shows on hiatus for the most part. I also have a new Christian Kane moodtheme to think about installing. That may wait until Leverage comes back and then I'll just have a whole CK/Leverage layout going. We'll see.... What do you think my new layout should be?

Um, cos it's Jeffrey Donovan as Michael Westen in Burn Notice? Are you looking at it? ;-) But, um, in reality, I find new fandom, I must graphic it. So, I find pictures. This one is from USA's official site for the show.
And I will tage whoever wants to do it.

Anyone wanna write a Burn Notice PWP Michael/Victor thing for me? I see it as a "missing scene." The part right after Victor ruins Michael's set-up at the bar. Michael is pissed, but before he leaves, he needs to use the bathroom. So, he's in there pissed off and doing his thing. Just before he leaves Victor walks in. There's banter. Perhaps some fighting. Then some fantastic angry sex in one of the stalls. Hot, right? Right? ;-)
