So, I have a Creative Zen mp3 player. When I got my new laptop I went to install the software that goes along with it. Not so surprising, it's not compatible with Windows 7. Not a big deal, my old laptop still works, I'll just keep it installed on there for awhile until I can find a fix or update. So, I go to the Creative website and after A LOT of digging, I find a DL that is supposed to update the software to be compatible with Win7. Awesome! I DL and attempt to install.

Here's where things get awesome.

The DL is an update to the existing software. I cannot install the current software as it's not compatible with Win7, so I can't install the fix as there is no software for it to update.

What. The Fuck.

How does that make sense? Oy...

Guess I'll just ask hubby later if I can install it on our server that's still XP.

Yes. It seems like it follows the logic that someone updated the OS that the software was already installed on and did not take into account an entirely new computer with the software needing to be installed from scratch.
