switch842My family came over today to bake Christmas cookies. It was just going to be my mom, but my brother came home early so he and my dad came, too. It was good times. Did the requisite sugar cookies and then peanut butter blossoms (peanut butter cookies with Hershey's Kisses. YUM!). We now have much sugar in the house that I don't really need but love anyway. :-)
And it looks like I may not be doing the Chicago SG con this/next year (2011). Hubby and his siblings are looking to organize a family trip with their dad for his Christmas present and with where their looking at going the weekend of the con is the best weekend to go. Sad, but I think I'm OK with it. I know it's the first year Judge was going to be back and I'll be sad to miss is craziness. And The Hewlett. But the SG cons were kind of going down hill in general, so I don't know.... And who knows, the trip may end up being another weekend. I guess we shall just wait and see.
Time to eat a cookie.... :-D

Date: 2010-12-23 01:48 pm (UTC)It should be a good trip. We're going to Fripp Island in South Carolina, where they used to go as kids. Sounds like it should be fun. And the next con will be SPN, so therefore AWESOME!!! LOL
