My music video won the Creation Contest! Woot!! First video played, opened the whole weekend. :-D I'll get it up here early next week after all the con stuff is over. Yay!!!! :-)

This was my entry into Creation's Michael Intro Video contest thing. Whipped together in about a day cos I like to torture myself. I was one of the runners-up so not the big winner. It did get played though, so that was cool. And Gary had some lovely words to say about my work so that was very nice to hear. :-)

All my vids

So, I just realized in my newest vid that the only clip of Vala I have is the little bit at the end of the season 10 team walking through the gate. And that just seems odd that I don't have more Vala. But the only place I can see to fit her in is during the second "I believe the world is burning to the ground/Oh well I guess we're gonna find out" that is currently the clips of the Tollan homeworld getting bombed. I've never really been that happy with that little bit, anyway. But this then removes the Tollan from the video. So, who is more important?

Hello, flist!! Hope everyone had a very happy and fun New Year's celebration and that the first (almost full) week has gone well. I'm very tired. Had to get up way too early after much too little sleep to drive back. And I had to do the driving cos my hubby was not feeling well. And there was really bad fog almost all the way through Wisconsin. Fun. Not.

Anyway, I've decided that I am done with skiing. I don't get it. It's not fun for me. It's just tiring and makes me sore. I have absolutely no need to go speeding down a mountain on two very small sticks, trying not to break my neck. I only skied a day and half this time. Part of the problem was the boots. The rental place got all new equipment. Which you think would be nice. But not so much. Cos they hadn't been stretched out at all so they just killed my calves and feet. Even on the biggest settings. And then my shin splints started acting up. No more skiing for me. Oh, darn.

But, this did give me time to work on my....latest video!! It's Stargate. Got the first rough cut done. Took me three days just to rip all the clips (over 90. Oy). But, it'll be good. I already love it. I hope you will, too.

I need some help from my Stargate friends. I'm going to be working on a new video and it's going to be a massive undertaking. I need some help finding/remembering scenes of the team when they are running away, things exploding, chaos, madness all around. Preferable from every season. So, let's hear 'em! :-)

Here it finally is. Over a year in the making (well, since it was requested that I make it). But it did take almost a month to put together. :-D

MeiMei had asked me to do a Jack/Daniel vid to James Blunt's "Goodbye My Lover." I decided to take up her challenge and finally plop myself down to do it. It's mainly Meridian clips with a few "flashbacks" thrown in. I've been told I should issue a hanky warning as there is a possibility for some tearing up on this one.
