Random ramblings are random
Jan. 19th, 2010 02:53 pmStill not liking the new GW layout. Subscribed threads seem to be a bit easier to get to, but still not having the "View First Unread" post working correctly. And I do not want to try and wade through the 50 gajillion posts on the update to see if anyone else has reported the issue. I'll just hope someone has and it'll be fixed.
New SPN casting spoiler was pretty much impossible to avoid. LOL But, I don't mind. All I will say on the subject is YAY!!! ABOUT FREAKING TIME!! And I hope perhaps is a little more substantial than the casting side might hint at. I'm kinda hoping this is one of those times that Kripke is pulling the wool over us and switching things around as he likes to do. But it probably won't be. :-( Either way, it's fine with me. SHANKS IS GONNA BE ON SUPERNATURAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had like 3 or 4 different Leverage/Christian Kane dreams last night. Sadly, none of them were one of those dreams. But that's OK. It was still pretty cool. Don't remember too many specifics. One involved him breaking his wrist and refusing to go to the ER. I had to make him. Then there was a concert at some point that we were sitting front row for. Whoever the "we" was.
More shows coming back this week - White Collar and Burn Notice. Woot!! I will be very distraught next week when Psych comes back at the same time as Leverage!! Ugh. I think Psych is going to be relegated to DVR viewing the next day. I gotta watch my Leverage live.
Saw Up In The Air yesterday with my mom. It was good. Actually laughed out loud at a couple parts. I'd recommend it. Not sure I get what the awards deal is with it. I mean, it was good, but it wasn't like OMG BEST MOVIE EVAR! or anything. Anyway, yeah.

I was one of the runners-up so not the big winner. It did get played though, so that was cool. And Gary had some lovely words to say about my work so that was very nice to hear. :-)

Sep. 21st, 2006 12:38 pmWoohoo! After work tonight, a friend of mine is coming over and we're going to watch a bunch of the convention videos I have courtesy of the fabulous SueB. (Oh! I got the DVD yesterday. Thanks!!). She's somewhat of a recent SG fan. She watched for awhile and then not and now that BB and CB are on the show (she's a 'Scaper) she's watching again. And I've been regaling her with my many tales of cons and she wants to see! So, yay! Hubby is going to be at some work function until late tonight. So we're gonna order and pizza and drool over the hotness that is Michael Shanks. :-D
Oh, and those RPers that I'm now playing with, this means I probably won't be online until very late if at all. :-)
