I'm still all alskjdghasdjg over the whole Kurt/Blaine thing. I've rewatched the episode 3 times today. And I just... Did that really happen? Did it? It's two days later and I'm still in shock and awe over this.

Is it because it's canon?

I've NEVER shipped a canon pairing before. Well, Torchwood, but that never really seemed to be treated very seriously and then they killed Ianto and... yeah. Anyway, I'm a hardcore slasher. My other fandoms don't really have much possibility of that happening on screen (Mulder/Krycek, Jack/Daniel, John/Rodney, Rodney/Carson, Sam/Dean, Dean/Cas [Aside, though I sometimes think that if SPN were on Showtime or HBO we might actually have a real shot at Dean/Cas]).

Is this what it feels like? Like it's so huge and wonderful and amazing that you can't stop thinking about it and pondering it and wondering what's going to happen next cos ANYTHING is possible now?

So,

brihana25 was inquiring a few weeks ago as to the appeal of RPS and its prevalence in the Supernatural fandom. It's kind of a hard question to answer because, really, why do fans 'ship anyone? What it all comes down to is subtext and innuendo, right? Taking what we see on the screen and extrapolating from that.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, Jared and Jensen have given us more than enough material to work with to support their 'ship. And

speakfree has been kind enough to compile most of it here in a pic/quote spam.

This is why I love these two boys. They really do have a very strong relationship. And by that, I just mean friendship. But it is very easy to just take it that one step further and, ya know, add your own little twist to it. Plus, they like to have fun with us fans and they'll play into it. It's all in good fun anyway.

So, yeah. There you have it. Why I ship Jared/Jensen. Any questions?

So I signed up for the JD slash ficathon thing. Got my prompt and pretty quickly had an idea of the story I wanted to write. So, I started writing and soon the rest of the story developed in my mind and I had I'd say 90-95% of it all mapped out. So, why can't I write it? I'm getting close to the end and the real "slashy" part of it. Am I just that out of practice that I don't know how to write smut anymore? That's kind of depressing, really. Grr. And it's due next week! I will get it done, though. I WILL. I just need to make myself write it. *sigh*

There's this trend in J/D slash fics that I've noticed, but can't seem to comprehend: Whenever the fic calls for Daniel to seduce Jack in some form or another and they describe his clothes, it's always black jeans. And I just don't get that, cos to me, black jeans are not sexy at all and any man that owns them should be shot and the pants burned. Is it just me? Am I the only one who thinks black jeans are the devil? Cos, seriously, if Daniel's not wearing loose linen pants, it's black jeans. Never regular blue jeans, but black. Eww.

Childhood's End was on in syndication last night. I love that episode. It's def one of my top 5 from season 1. Anyway, is it just me and my slashy-minded-ness or was there so something going on between Keras and John? Seriously, there were some major sparks flying between those two. Hey! Does someone want to write me a story about those two? :-) Maybe the team goes back in 6 months or something and Keras is all like "I know what I want. And I want you" to John. That would be awesome!
