I managed to find a cardigan to go with the tee that I was looking for the other day. It's from Urban Outiftters. I had gone there to try on another sweater I saw on their website, but it didn't work out. Then I saw this one! And it worked! I actually wore the tee today so I could make sure whatever I found actually worked with it. This makes me happy. :-)

Then I had a hair cut. Just a trim, really, as I'm going through the growing out stage. :-) And here is where I need your help! I like to have a goal haircut/style in mind when I do this so I don't just give up and chop it off half way through.
First, this is me currently:

Yes, my most recent pictures are from cons. Whatever. Anyway, the hair is a bit longer than that now. The top layers are almost to the tops of my ears. And blonde. Again. :-)

I was thinking of going back to something kind of like this:

Which, I actually liked quite a bit. But then I saw this:

What do we think? Can I pull it off? Yes? No? Any other ideas?

You're so lucky to have met them! :D

I've got some big fandom stuff coming up this year that I'm so excited for, but no Supernatural (Glee Live, Twilight convention, and Mid-Ohio Con - where I'll be meeting James Marsters from Buffy).

I think you could probably pull the hair off. :D

James Marsters?!?! I LOVE him. Have not met him, have friends who have (Dragon*Con) and they've said he's so nice. Have fun!

I think you could pull off that last style. My only question I have for you (since you tend to have your hair short), how do you feel about your hair getting into your eyes? Because with that style, it would happen.

I think I'd be OK with it. I haven't really had anything like it before, so I can't say 100% sure. But looking at it, it doesn't bother me.

It just looks really fun and kinda funky and edgy, but not completely out there.

exactly, those are my favorite types of hairstyles!! mine is fairly boring and long now, but is parted sort of interestingly.

if the hair in the face thing bugs you, you can always part it differently or clip back the bangs. I think it's versatile enough tot play with!

Well, I've done the faux-hawk thing. Done the Rosemary's Baby pixie and the inverted bob and everything in between. LOL I love playing with my hair. My stylist loves me. :-)

It does look really quite versatile. I think it'll be fun. I'll have to take it in and show my stylist. I'm never quite sure if I have the right texture for some cuts. I guess we'll see.... :-)

With your bone structure you can pull it off. For me the hair in the eyes will drive me nuts. If you can live with that then cool.

I like that last haircut! Whether you will be happy with it will depend on whether you have the time to style it daily. I imagine those bangs are staying put with a lot of hairspray and that side volume is from some teasing? Those two are "no go"s for me except for special occasions but I know lots of people disagree with me.

FWIW, I like your current cut. I think it looks sassy and easy to take care of. If you like to play with your style, though, I can see that it would be limiting. Looking at your comments, I think perhaps you've already decided and just hadn't yet realized it. ;-)

I hope it looks darling on you!

I like it, too. But I think I'm gonna have to talk it over with my stylist just to see what she thinks it looks like if I DON'T style it like that, as you say. It's a very heavy bang and if I style it more simply (like the other long hair pic) what's it going to do?

You know what, I think I talked to you in line for one of the photo ops. Like, pretty super sure. Here's me (http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/163057_619220954648_56700131_34561595_6567183_n.jpg). Yes, no?

Also, I totally made enough money to buy my ticket. I always give into my whimsical desires anyway, I have no idea why I was resisting. 3:00 on the 4th is the one you're doing, right?

Also, I totally think you could pull off that hair.

I'm still deciding, actually. Are you pretty familiar with the arena?

Would the floor, or the back of the 100s be a better view?

From: [identity profile] switch842.livejournal.com
Well, floor would be all flat seating. The stage would be raised, but there is the possibility of some Super Tall Person being in front of you and blocking the view. The 100s are where the stadium seating would start. We're actually in Section 114 if there's anything left in that area.

There's one left in 114, but it's row V. That feels.... far back. I don't know though.

I'm trying to decide between Floor 2, Row 23 and 112, Row FF. They're probably the best within my price range. Thoughts?

Awesome! I just looked at the floor chart and I think I had seats in that area for another show. They're not bad. Yay!! This is exciting!! When it gets closer to show time we'll have to work out a meeting somewhere... :-)

(I'm going to Vegas next month and really hoping I can hit big a bit. If I do, VIP TICKETS here we come!!! LOL)
