Peter Pan finished tonight. Yay!! No more hideous pink dress!!! Most of the performances went really well; no huge sanfus. Until tonight (sort of). When the Indians went on stage to dance, one of the girl's necklaces just broke (almost like exploded) and the beads went all over the stage. Luckily, they were big beads and easily see-able. The Lost Boys that were on stage watching were right on it and went over to pick them up like little treasures. My parents and a friend came to see the show today, so that was nice.

I can finally get back to my normal life now! Yay!! Whatever that means..... :-D

Had two school performances this morning. Both went very well. The kids all love the part where the dog starts dancing with one of the little kids. It is very funny. But the audience in the second show... OMG. They were absolutely nuts. They were screaming, SCREAMING, every time the lights went out. At everything really. At first it was pretty good, great energy and all that. But eventually, it was like "OMG. Shut up, already!".

Anyway, do I have a treat for you....

I have to go to the doctor tomorrow for a check up. Nothing serious, but she's going to check my cholosteral and all that stuff for the first time. I'm very nervous about the cholosteral thing as two of my favorite foods are red meat and chocolate. Oy.

Less than two weeks til Peter Pan! I'm actually getting very excited about it. I can't wait to see the pirate scenes. I've heard they are very amusing. :-)

Tonight at ballet class (which was my first in three weeks, oy vey!), my teacher mentioned these two youtube videos about these Chinese ballet dancers. Holy Crap. In the first one, she does pirouettes EN POINTE on the guys shoulders and then a promenade EN POINTE ON HIS HEAD!! It's insane. I swear the gilr has no bones in her body. And she has the most amazing muscle control. She does not move or twitch one iota. You will flip your lid. They're behind the cut if want to take a look. And you should.

Tonight is my first rehearsal for Peter Pan. I'm very excited to see how this is going to go. Apparently, I will be doing some waltzing with my "husband." Yay! That makes me very happy. I still can't quite figure out how Peter Pan will work as a ballet, but I guess we'll see!

What else...

I saw The Holiday last night. It was really good. It's definitely a chick flick, but there were still a few unexpected twists and turns in places. I teared up a bit at several points. I'm such a sap. And I really want the soundtrack, too as it has several Imogen Heap songs on it and I hope some of the piano music is on there, too.

I have found jeans that fit! God Bless Eddie Bauer! It is so hard for me to find jeans that will come up high enough on me since I'm so high waisted. Eddie Bauer's are perfect. They fit like a glove. All my jeans will be bought from them in future. I also bought a really cute pair of red mary jane flats. So cute. I've been wanting red shoes and now I have them. Yay! :-)
