I have lost a pair of shoes. :-(

They were these wedge sandal things that I loved, but didn't wear very often since they have quite a bit of a heel and they're not the most supportive shoe. But they were awesome and they made me feel awesome whenever I wore them. I wanted to take them to Vegas and I cannot find them. The last time I remember wearing them was almost two years ago at this summer event we had for work at the local race track.

There are a couple other places to check, but they are not in the closet with all my other shoes like they should be. Luckily, they were just cheapies from Payless, so it's not like I'm out mucho $$ or anything. It's just annoying. Cos, what the hell happened to them???

ETA: FOUND 'EM!! They were buried in a pile of a couple other pairs of sandals. Yay! Now what to wear with them....

How awesome are they? Totally. :-)

And I also ordered my J2 Photo Op for the Chicago Con! Yay! Getting one by myself this year. *sigh* Good times. Next up, figuring out which ticket level I want to pick up...

I got my first pair of Converse!!

They're just low tops, but I already love them. I needed new gym shoes as I've had the same pair for probably 6 or 7 years now. Yeah, it's time for a new pair. LOL :-D

Also, remember that fic I asked about the other day where I had the ending, but not the beginning? Well, I wrote it. And now I would like someone to look over it. I figured since I had the ending I would just start there and then realized that I could sort of bounce back and forth since the end was really the important part. And I've never really written anything in that kind of style before. And it's not, like, separated between *FLASHBACK* and *PRESENT* so I want to make sure someone else can follow my time jumps. I think it works, but then again, I wrote it! LOL It's a Christian Kane/Jensen Ackles RPS thing. But it's an AU. So, any takers? :-D

Tonight is my first rehearsal for Peter Pan. I'm very excited to see how this is going to go. Apparently, I will be doing some waltzing with my "husband." Yay! That makes me very happy. I still can't quite figure out how Peter Pan will work as a ballet, but I guess we'll see!

What else...

I saw The Holiday last night. It was really good. It's definitely a chick flick, but there were still a few unexpected twists and turns in places. I teared up a bit at several points. I'm such a sap. And I really want the soundtrack, too as it has several Imogen Heap songs on it and I hope some of the piano music is on there, too.

I have found jeans that fit! God Bless Eddie Bauer! It is so hard for me to find jeans that will come up high enough on me since I'm so high waisted. Eddie Bauer's are perfect. They fit like a glove. All my jeans will be bought from them in future. I also bought a really cute pair of red mary jane flats. So cute. I've been wanting red shoes and now I have them. Yay! :-)

So when I got my fabulous skirt for the holiday party, I also got a pair of shoes, as well. I was concerned the pair of shoes that I had that I would wear might be a little too clunky. So, I need your help in deciding if I have to keep the new shoes or if the other shoes I have work well enough. Now, the place where this party is is fairly fancy schmancy. So, I'm no longer a blonde. :-) I guess you could call me a light brownish. It looks a little red right now, but I think that might just be from mixing with the blonde color. I had to get it done for The Nutcracker. I have this fake hairpiece I might need to use since my hair is so short and it's not blonde. :-) I'll probably go back blonde after the show.

I also got new shoes! Yay!! They're from Skechers. New tennis shoe type things.

I also kind of went dress shopping. We got the invite to my boyfriend's work holiday party. It's at the Prudential building downtown Chicago. Fancy restaurant. Anywho, the boyfriend really needed shoes so we stopped by JC Penney since their entire store is on sale this weekend. While he was at shoes, I went to the dresses. Found one that was really pretty. Can't find a picture of it. :-( Anyway, it was brown, tank, really deep V. Like way past the cleavage. With a cool goldish/beaded broach at the end of the V. The back had a little train to it, too. It was really pretty. He didn't like it though. I'm sure I can find something better, anyway. :-)

I also finished my first (long) QAF Fanfic. Yay!! I sent it to my beta (Thanks Luna!!!). I'll post it when I get it back. It's like the first in a series. I don't know if any if you remember, but a while back,

paddies posted a story that someone else wanted to see about Brian being this porn king and Justin getting dragged in after his dad kicks him out and the producers want to do the whole "pop the virgin's cherry" on film thing. That's this story. The first part is done. I'll probably do at least 2 more, maybe 3 depending on where the muse takes me.
