The Unwarbled Tour
Jun. 9th, 2011 03:15 pmExpanding on my tumblr post from earlier...
Here's what I said:
The more I think about this, the more I want this to happen. I just have no idea where to even start trying to organize anything like this.
But, seriously. This could be so successful. They have a TON of fans. The Warblers really are like rock stars now. There are plenty of decent sized clubs out there that aren't huge and that wouldn't have super expensive ticket prices. And after seeing the little mini-Warblers concert that happens in the middle of the Glee Live tour and the fans response to them, it's amazing. I'm sure a large part of that was for Darren, but the other boys definitely have plenty of fans in their own right. I mean, there was practically an uproar when we all found out Dominic wasn't going to be on the tour.
I just... I WANT THIS. I want to do this. I want to help these boys because they are soooooo amazing and deserve all the success they can get.
If you like this idea and you have a tumblr, please go here and reblog and like the post. Let's get the word out!
Here's what I said:
All The Warblers need to get together and go on tour where they do their own music. Luke & Jon & Matt & Brock & Riker & Curt & Titus & everyone doing what they love. Wouldn’t that be awesome? We can call it The Unwarbled Tour. How can we make that happen?

Glee Live: Thoughts & Concerns
May. 12th, 2011 08:45 pmLet's just take a walk through my (scary) thought process with the help of smilies:
Glee Live dates are announced. Have friends that want to go:
They announce Darren is joining the tour:
They announce The Warblers will be joining Darren on the tour:
The Warblers join Darren on some talk show appearances:
Dominic replies to someone inquiring that he was not invited to be part of the tour:
I am now very concerned that the Darren/Blaine/Dalton/Whatever portions of the evening are going to be completely suck ass. Dominic was one of the few Warblers that actually had a name and lines. To not invite him is, in my opinion, a completely douche move. I understand they couldn't invite everyone (salary, lodging & other such logistics). But Dominic? Really?
And then getting back to the Warblers' recent talk show appearances - it's been the boys lip syncing to the Beelzebubs tracks and dancing while Darren sings live. And it sounds terrible. It just does. You can tell the backing vocals are prerecorded and honestly, on some of those songs, Darren needs some help. Teenage Dream and Hey, Soul Sister are really high and singing to a prerecorded track means they can't adjust if he's having an off day or anything. He's just going to be stuck and he's going to wreck his voice and I'm very worried.
But, see, the thing is, those boys can SING. Like, for real. They're all absolutely amazing. And I know that trying to get an 8 part harmony a capella arrangement figured out isn't exactly easy. But you know what? If you gave them the time and the tools they needed? They could do it. They would do it. Because they are so excited and thrilled and just happy to be even the smallest part of the Glee Machine. Let them go work with the 'Bubs for a month or something before the tour starts. They would GET IT. I know they would. And that's I think one of the biggest disappointments about this whole thing to me.
I don't know... I just have a really bad feeling it's going to suck and disappoint A LOT of people.

The Warblerettes
Mar. 27th, 2011 08:43 pmSo, I was having waaaaaaaaaaaay too much fun and decided to make all The Warblers into Disney Princesses. I used the basic Dalton model that
inannah created in that thread cos it's just brilliant and totally what the Dalton uniform would be if it was an all girl's school in the Disney Universe.
You'll find them all thumbnailed behind the cut. Yes, I'm insane...

The Warblers!!
Mar. 26th, 2011 09:10 pmSo, I think most Glee fans know by now that The Warblers as heard on the show are actually The Beelzebubs from Tufts University. Now, the guys that portray The Warblers can actually sing and they've recorded a song!! It's an a capella version of Fireflies by Owl City and is pretty awesome. Take a listen:
The guy singing lead is supposedly the tall guy that normally does the beatbox stuff on the show. So, yeah. I'm like really excited to hear their track from the Barbara Streisand thing on The Warblers album now. :-)
